Town Clerk-Treasurer
The Town of Wingate does not have a Clerk-Treasurer since no one was elected to serve as such. Without an elected Clerk-Treasurer, the Town Council President is considered the acting clerk-treasurer. The Town has contracted with Suzy Bass and Janet Alexander from Local Government Services, LLC to staff the clerk-treasurer's office and work under the direction of the Council President. The duties of the Clerk-Treasurer include management of the utility billing office, record keeping, and administrative functions for the Town.
